In response to the recent challenges faced by our community, particularly the closure of St. John Vianney due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we are excited to announce that the Cathedral School of St. Jude is expanding to accommodate additional students. As part of this growth, we are introducing two classes at every grade level, creating multiple new teaching and staff opportunities.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students while being part of a thriving and supportive Catholic school community.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- Completion of DCF 40 clock hours and corresponding exams
- Completion of a Literacy course (5 hours) and a Phonological Awareness course
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
- Experience in differentiated instruction, interdisciplinary lesson planning, and fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Additional Requirements:
- Level II background screening
