In response to the recent challenges faced by our community, particularly the closure of St. John Vianney due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we are excited to announce that the Cathedral School of St. Jude is expanding to accommodate additional students. As part of this growth, we are introducing two classes at every grade level, which means multiple new teaching and staff positions are now available.

The following qualifications for the position of ESE teacher are required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
- Certification in Special Education or eligible for certification by the Florida State Department of Education (Letter of Eligibility, or current application, with FL DOE ID required)
- Experience working with ESE students
- Experience with the RTI process and creating IEPs or student support plans
- Experience collaborating with teachers to provide differentiated instruction
The candidate must be passionate about the mission of Catholic education. Cathedral School of St. Jude is looking for educators skilled in differentiated instruction, planning for the integration of subject areas, and developing and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
The position also requires a level II background screening.
