The Clinical Nurse Lead for Assisted Living serves as a key clinical and administrative leader within the CCRC's assisted living neighborhood. This position combines traditional clinical nurse leadership responsibilities with specialized assisted living documentation and assessment requirements. The role requires advanced knowledge of both clinical care and assisted living regulations, particularly regarding functional capacity screenings, healthcare service plans, and negotiated service agreements.
While this position has direct shift supervision responsibilities, major personnel matters and formal disciplinary actions should be escalated to the DON and Administrator according to facility policy. The role maintains a strong focus on supportive leadership and staff development.

- Current RN or LPN license in good standing required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in senior living setting, preferably Assisted Living
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Excellent clinical assessment skills
- Proficient in EMR systems
- Strong communication and teaching abilities
- Experience with NSAs, FCSs, HSPs highly desired, but not required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Extended computer work
- Facility/campus walking for admissions
- Light lifting up to 30 lbs
- Clinical resident assessment capabilities
- Ability to be on feet for extended periods
- Capable of frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
- May need to assist with resident transfers
- Must be able to respond quickly to emergency situations
