What You’ll Do:
Repair and maintain equipment and building operations including ready-mix plant, recycler and other miscellaneous equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate front-end loader in yard for cleanup and recycler machinery. Loads dump truck with recycled material.
- Weld and cut on equipment when necessary.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on ready-mix plant, conveyor, mixer, loader and recycler such as oiling, greasing, and changing filters.
- Perform air tests
- Deslug ready-mix plant at end of day.
- Manage recycler with water and recycled material.
- Perform emergency maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary such as welding, replacing parts, and changing bags on dust collector.
- Perform general cleanup of plant and yard such as shoveling and sweeping.
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner.
- Perform metal fabrication for plant operations.
- Complete all paperwork required by employer. Examples: (Have reports or equipment maintenance schedules, work orders, and employee time sheets.)
Qualifications:
- Weld and cut with a torch.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in maintenance of equipment, such as air compressors, mixers, vibrators, conveyors, motors, and other miscellaneous equipment.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Three to five years related experience; and/or
- Training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay: $42.40 per hour
