Responsibilities:
- Provide quality substance use counseling utilizing evidence-based practices for individuals or groups, based on assigned case load, credentials, certifications, and/or special skills
- Complete substance abuse evaluations, or other assessment/evaluations based on credentials, certifications, and/or special skills
- Complete progress notes, treatment plans and other paperwork accurately and timely
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed during office hours
- Work as part of a team to ensure access to coordinated comprehensive health care
- Serve as liaison between The Center and other agencies when making appropriate referrals or attending meetings.
- Participate in weekly team meetings.
- Attend professional development activities to advance skills and obtain needed CEU credits for licensing requirements.
- Maintain valid state of Kansas license to practice in area of substance use discipline.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or marriage and family (dual-license in SU preferred). May substitute experience for Bachelor's degree.
- Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Kansas (BSRB)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
