What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at The Center for Mindfulness & CBT?
We’re looking for an intelligent, motivated, friendly, detail-oriented individual to work under our office manager providing intake, scheduling, client assistance, and billing services.
Key roles for this job include:
- Responding to inquiries from prospective new patients to gather information and determine which provider will be the best fit for them
- Scheduling new patient appointments
- Checking health insurance benefits for new patients
- Entering information into the scheduling system
- Manage inventory and supplies
- Scanning records into EHR system
- Entering payments and mailing patient billing statements
Qualifications:
- Great interpersonal skills and comfort in talking with new people
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Confidence to work independently coupled with an openness to constructive feedback
- The ability to think on your feet and problem-solve without explicit guidance
- “Tech-savvy” with google workspace, and able to learn how to use new programs quickly
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
