Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company is a vertically integrated musculoskeletal outcomes management company. HOPCo manages physician practices, hospital service lines, population health and value-based care programs, and musculoskeletal delivery networks.
HOPCo is the managing partner of Arizona-based entities, CORE Institute, Northern Arizona Orthopaedics, CORE Institute Specialty Hospital, Michigan-based CORE Institute, and Florida-based Southeast Orthopedic Specialists Clinics and Musculoskeletal Specialty Hospital.
As HOPCo continues to grow, we are looking for a Director of Clinical Operations for our CORE West Valley clinics. Please see below for the functions and requirements for this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- In consort with the EVP of Operations, coach and lead all staff to instill the organization’s mission, vision and core values through education, demonstration, huddles and results.
- In coordination with Quality, creates, implements and enforces written policies and procedures for all processes involved in providing patient care in all applicable settings.
- Demonstrate outcomes as measured through established metrics and patient satisfaction survey.
- Interviews, onboards and creates the training for new clinic supervisors.
- Manages overall clinic performance within an assigned geography.
- In coordination with the Clinic Supervisor, assesses the staffing needs for the clinic.
- Shall lead on-going quality monitoring of competencies of staff and assist in training and educations of all staff.
- Establishes, implements and manages KPI / dashboards to achieve departmental goals in conjunction with key stakeholders.
- Develops presentation materials to share / speak amongst organizational meetings.
- Work with supply chain to manage inventory costs and turns.
- Addresses daily provider concerns regarding workflow, staff, patient needs, etc.
- Assesses staffing ratios to ensure the clinics run efficiently while still providing exemplary patient care.
- Manages clinic performance including capacity, MIPS & promoting interoperability, encounter times, patient volumes, etc.
- Holds regularly scheduled 1:1’s with the Clinic Supervisors to provide coaching and development through real time feedback, reinforce positive behavior and correct any inappropriate behaviors.
- Assists in managing provider templates.
EDUCATION
- Requires a college degree in a relative field. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Five years working experience in a medical practice or clinic.
- Previous supervisory experience in a medical clinic setting is preferred.
