What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Day Habilitation Services position at The Center for Rapid Recovery?
The Director of Day Habilitation Services will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the day habilitation program, serving individuals with intellectual disabilities. The Director will work closely with the Division Director of Waiver Services, staff members, participants, and their families to ensure services are effectively delivered in line with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and best practices in the field. The Director will also engage in strategic planning, program development, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management and Development:
Lead the development and implementation of program objectives, practices, and performance standards.
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, document results, and develop changes in program services as necessary to maximize outcomes.
Ensure all program activities and operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations and business operations laws.
Establish and implement policies and procedures for day habilitation services.
Staff Management and Development:
Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to support individuals with intellectual disabilities effectively.
Promote a high-performance and continuous improvement culture that values learning and quality.
Conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure continual improvement and provide feedback to staff about their performance and development.
Consumer Services:
Establish and maintain relationships with participants, families, and guardians to ensure their needs and expectations are being met.
Oversee the development and implementation of individual service plans for each client, ensuring they are person-centered and promote independence, community integration, and quality of life.
Respond to concerns or complaints from participants, families, staff or auditors promptly and professionally.
Partnership and Community Engagement:
Foster a network of partnerships with community-based organizations, local schools, government agencies, and businesses to create opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and other professional gatherings to promote the program and advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the organization's strategic planning process, providing input and insight on the direction of day habilitation services.
Implement strategic initiatives that align with the organization's mission, vision, and goals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,689.94 - $58,207.24 per year
