KITCHEN PERSONNELJOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direct supervision of the Cook, this position is responsible for:
· the overall daily clean-up of the kitchen.
· assisting the Cook in the preparation, packaging and serving of all meals daily while maintaining a clean work area.
· Helping the Cook in maintaining a safe and sanitary workplace.
All employees are in an ‘at will’ employment status, and under the overall supervision of the executive Director and the Board of Directors of the Center.
The general duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
A. Responsible for helping maintain the sanitation of the kitchen and surrounding areas to the degree that the facility will pass all health inspections at any given time.
B. Responsible for assisting Dishwasher in washing all dishes pots and pans on a daily basis and in a timely manner.
C. Responsible for assisting the Head Cook in cleaning all kitchen equipment, kitchen surfaces, including walls and floors; all dining areas and Meals-On-Wheels Room.
D. Responsible for stocking all dining room tables with supplies each morning.
E. Responsible for assisting The Center’s Cook as needed on a daily basis.
F. Responsible for washing, drying and folding of all kitchen laundry.
G. Responsible for performing other duties as assigned by the Cook, Chief Operating Officer or Chief Executive Officer.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
