The Challenge Printing Company is seeking a Bilingual HR Assistant to join our team in North Carolina. This role is crucial in supporting our Human Resources department with administrative tasks, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and English, ensuring clear communication with our diverse workforce. Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with daily HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, and employee record-keeping.
· Translate HR documents, policies, and communications into Spanish to support non-English-speaking employees.
· Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication in both English and Spanish.
· Support the recruiting process by scheduling interviews, screening candidates, and coordinating new hire orientations.
· Maintain employee files and ensure HR records are accurate and up to date.
· Help coordinate training sessions, safety programs, and employee engagement activities.
· Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and leave requests as needed.
· Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
· Support HR initiatives related to employee relations, performance management, and workplace culture.
Requirements
· The ideal candidate must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
· Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal) is required.
· A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position is required
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Must have strong knowledge and understanding of insurance regulations and plan designs while at the same time, familiarity with all applicable state and federal regulations.
· Familiarity with Paylocity or any HRIS Systems is an asset
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
