What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a volunteer who can
- Help set up and manage cloud hosting environments (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Configure CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and reliability
- Implement basic security and data privacy protocols
- Collaborate with developers and product team to support smooth development workflows
- Support lightweight analytics and infrastructure documentation
- Advise on scalable, cost-effective infrastructure choices for an early-stage, nonprofit platform
- Experienced in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems administration
- Skilled in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
- Familiar with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Security-conscious and mission-driven
- Comfortable working in lean, early-stage environments
- Bonus Experience with nonprofit tech, food systems platforms, or social impact tech
- Apply your technical skills to meaningful, climate-aligned projects
- Help shape the infrastructure of an early-stage, mission-driven platform
- Flexible, remote contribution - no rigid time commitment
- Be part of a small, collaborative team building something new
- Gain experience working in a real product development environment
