The Champion Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C., is a top-rated law firm in Marietta, Georgia. The ideal paralegal is a superstar with experience in litigation and pre-suit cases, and is detail-oriented, organized, and an exceptional communicator. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience. We pay a salary that is at the top of the market. The caseload will primarily be premises liability, medical malpractice, and motor vehicle accidents. We strongly prefer experience at a plaintiff's firm but will consider candidates who have worked on the defense side.
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery
- Analyze, organize, and redact documents for production
- Analyze and summarize medical records
- E-filing with courts
- Gather evidence
- Schedule depositions
- Manage multiple deadlines and tasks
- Communicate with clients, counsel, courts, experts, and others
- Assist with mediation and/or trial preparation
- Ensure overall organization of case file in our electronic case management system
- Various other duties as they arise

- Well-versed with terminology and issues in personal injury claims including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability claims, and medical malpractice cases

This is a full-time (40 hours weekly) position that requires interpersonal skills, empathy and compassion, as well as, support the standards of the firm and its core values. Once training is complete, this is a hybrid position.
