A historic, boutique hotel in the Berkshires is seeking an experienced Director of Food and Beverage to join their team.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a General Manager or Director of food and beverage
- Multi-Unit experience required, banquet experience is also preferred
- Strong communicator to team, guests, and ownership
- Passionate about guest service, big picture thinker, lead by example leader
- Knowledgeable in business and financial acumen
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire food and beverage operation including 3 outlets and private events
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, control costs, and ensure profitability. Create pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
- Hire, train, and supervise food and beverage staff. Ensure staff is properly trained in customer service, safety protocols, and product knowledge.
- Ensure high standards of guest service, handle customer complaints or issues, and work to continuously improve satisfaction.
