Director of Food and Beverage
As Director of Food & Beverage, you will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage operations, including the restaurant, bar, banquet events, and in-room dining. You will be responsible for driving financial performance, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage all food and beverage operations, ensuring excellence in service, quality, and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance revenue, control costs, and drive profitability.
- Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing food & beverage team, fostering a culture of hospitality and teamwork.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance menu offerings, incorporating seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and cost controls.
- Build strong relationships with guests, vendors, and the local community.
- Work closely with the sales and events teams to ensure seamless execution of banquets and special events.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a boutique hotel or fine dining environment.
- Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
- Passion for hospitality and a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of industry trends, menu development, and operational efficiencies.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
