Chemours is seeking a Commercial Development Professionals to join our growing Chemours Commercial Development Program (CDP) team! This position will report directly to the CDP Rotation Sponsor at our Wilmington, DE Headquarters location. The Chemours Commercial Development Professional is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Procurement functions across Advanced Performance Materials, Thermal and Specialized Solutions, and Titanium Technologies businesses. The successful candidate will acquire on-the-job business experience through a variety of rotational assignments and learning events while collaborating with business leaders to execute business strategy. The successful candidate will experience 2 to 3 rotations that each last ~12 – 18 months. The CDP program targets early-career candidates who are looking to quickly gain commercial acumen and build a strong path towards future commercial roles. The first rotation will be in TSS North America's marketing team. The responsibilities of various rotations may include, but are not limited to, the following: Channel sales account management including opportunity management, lead management, and meeting sales growth objectives. Support Global Product Managers with product portfolio life cycle analysis, product line profitability, SKU optimization, and short-term supply chain analysis Conduct marketing processes such as customer segmentation, value propositions, case studies, and marketing plans Research marketplace trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and product performance / adoption to synthesize findings and make recommendations Participate in New Product Development (NPD) process, lead opportunity assessments for new products and providing overall strategic market direction. Coordinating with Marketing Communications to create new sales and marketing collateral Building procurement category strategies involving business requirements, market and competitor analysis as well as supplier assessments Participate and/or lead supplier negotiations culminating in supply contract execution The following is required for this role: Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical or business discipline 2 – 6 years Chemical Industry experience in any function (technical, production, business, etc).
