GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A licensed registered nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia and maintains a CPR / BLS Certification.
- Must possess knowledge of federal and state and local standards, guidelines and regulations in addition to general nursing and medical practices pertaining to long-term care.
- Must possess strong oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with residents and staff.
- Must possess sound clinical nursing skills and the ability to perform hands-on nursing care including repositioning and transfer techniques.
- Must have leadership and motivational skills and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
