Description
We are currently looking for a Part Time 29 Customer Service Clerk to join our Exhibit C Team team located at the Exhibit C working .
Summary:
This position is responsible for establishing contact with both internal and external customers. Providing customers with the requested information, assistance concerning or direct requests to those who can provide the service. Responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service and the cleanliness and operation of the center’s interior spaces. Responsibilities include operating various types of technology to obtain information for internal and external customers based on need.
- Provide a high level of customer service and information to all customers and staff
- Count money to verify amounts and issues receipts for funds received. This includes credit card transactions as needed
- Audit of register and change box funds by auditing account shortages and overages through process of counting shift bag down before and after closing out shift
- Respond to requests for information/materials; researches and fills requests for those requesting such materials and information
- Maintains inventory or other records; set up displays; and maintains cleanliness of work area
- Ensure that interior and exterior spaces of the center are neat and clean at all times including the lobby and restrooms resulting in a positive first impression of the Chickasaw Nation
- Ensure retail gift shop and brochure racks are stocked at all times, communicating to management when items are running low on inventory
- Greets customers or visitors; answers telephone calls; secures and provides requested information; provides services; or directs the request to those who can provide the customer with the information or services
- Service groups visiting the Visitor Center according to Management direction
- Receives requests for information and services and provides such services using advanced technological equipment
- Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made
- Greets and engages with a smile
- Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes
- Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
- Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment

- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
- Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
