We are currently looking for a Full Time Real Estate Svcs Property Manager to join our Real Est Srvs Team team located at the Housing Annex working .
Summary :
Property Manager oversees all commercial leasing and property acquisition processes, as well as identifies all real estate proposed for purchase in the GSI mapping system. Oversees and performs database entry for RES. Encodes and manages all royalty payment data within the RES database. Oversees and coordinates with other departmental personnel in fulfilling the responsibilities, goals and objectives of the leasing and acquisition process in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities :
- Works with Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) to capture Tribal restricted interest data within GSI
- Obtains the title status reports information, encodes into database, and works with GSI to draw in the property once database is updated
- Compiles and oversees database of all mineral and surface acreage
- Adds to the surface and mineral acreage any producing and non-producing lease documents
- Updates any royalty data on real time basic in database and GSI
- Manages procedures to facilitate efficiency in the commercial leasing process. Oversees lease negotiations and renewals
- Resolves lease facility problems or issues successfully, after consultation with lessor and lessee
- Ensures transfer of utilities at commercial lease facilities
- Accomplishes database entry and management within the RES database. Encodes and verifies acquisition and leasing data within the system
- Encodes royalty payment data within RES database and ensures accuracy to provide real time information in GSI
- Manages and ensures efficiency in the process of acquiring land for the Chickasaw Nation, ensures appraisal of land is completed and recommends negotiations on land
- Verifies and approves building for commercial leasing properties for internal departments within the Chickasaw Nation
- Works with leadership on building and spacing needs, and meets expectations while contracting with lessors
- Ensures efficiency in the processes of scheduling of site inspections with users or prospective tenants
- Coordinates with the appropriate personnel in Real Estate Services in processing a suitable site for construction, if needed
- Assists other personnel in Real Estate Services with the day-to-day operations, if needed
- Prepares and submits progress report of the status of each site that is reviewed by the director and other appropriate individuals
- Coordinates with realtors, attorneys, and sellers, if needed, to complete any and all legal requirements for each site
- Organizes and directs day-to-day scheduling of abstract updating, title opinions, settlement statements, and closing dates
- Oversees documents with appraisers, surveyors, and other staff to implement purchasing or leasing procedures for sites
- Submits and records data on all possible property for the database, and shares with other areas that need space or land
- Provides quality assurance of all data on possible property in the GSI system, which includes constant follow up of properties and quick data entry to ensure data is in real time
- Verifies legal descriptions with environmental reviews, real estate contract practices, and become aware of procedures and regulations that must be addressed for final clearance
- Establishes and maintains appropriate files and records for each site to be acquired. Exercises document control and management practices as established by the Sr. Manager
