SummaryThe Education Coordinator is responsible for providing guidance and assistance in several facets of the creation of curriculum; including resource acquisition, coaching, and instructional support.______________________________________________________________________ Essential Functions: Provides guidance in development of curriculum. Assists in identifying and acquiring lesson resources. Observes and coaches Group Leader professionals in establishing best practices. Collaborates with Director and school administration to identify appropriate themes and objectives for educational content. Aids staff in planning, writing and implementing high-quality, content-rich lessons. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 12pm to 5pm or 1pm to 6pm  Pay Rate: $20 to $25/ hr Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Youth Development, or related field. Strong experience with curriculum planning for young people (preferably high school). Knowledge of youth development principles and theories. Knowledge of Common Core Standards. Experience coaching and training with strong leadership, conflict resolution anddiplomacy skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to plan and carry out assignments independently. Ability to prioritize, adhere to timelines and multi-task. Qualifications Preferred: Master’s Degree in Education, Youth Development, or related field.
