Location: The Children's Home of Reading | 1010 Centre Ave. | Reading, PA 19606
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4pm
We are hiring a Facilities | Maintenance worker.
Position Primary Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to: door and drop ceiling installation and repair, leaf collection, snow plowing, general grounds and facility maintenance and repair, snow and ice removal from property, grass mowing, trimming, painting and general repairs to facility buildings. Cleaning floors, restrooms, and windows in designated areas. Collecting and emptying trash.
Requirements: The position requires a responsible person with ability to follow directions, pay attention to detail, and work independently. Must be at least 21 years of age. A High School diploma or G.E.D. is not required (preferred), the ability to read, write, and communicate basic information in English.
Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass required Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. The candidate must pass a pre-employment Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings.
