Location: The Children's Home of Reading | 1010 Centre Ave. | Reading, PA 19606
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday from 7:30am - 4pm
We are hiring a Housekeeping | Custodian | Facilities to work 1st shift.
Position Primary Duties:
Consists of cleaning floors, restrooms, and windows designated areas.
Collecting and emptying trash.
Perform routine maintenance activities.
Dusting furniture, walls, and equipment with the flexibility to perform combined assignments.
Not limited to vacuuming, and or as needed to keep with required standards for Health & Safety.
Comprehension and understanding of basic English.
Requirements: The position requires a responsible person with ability to follow directions, pay attention to detail, and work independently. Must be at least 21 years of age. A High School diploma or G.E.D. is not required (preferred), the ability to read, write, and communicate basic information in English.
Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass required Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. The candidate must pass a pre-employment Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings.
