Are you someone who is passionate about the mental health needs of children? Do you want to be part of a new and innovative program in the Broome County area? The Children's Home is seeking a passionate Licensed Mental Health Professional to become part of our new Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program!

The ACT Program : Utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to serve children between the ages of 10-21 years old with mental health needs. The Youth ACT program is an alternative to out-of-home placement, is family driven, and serves the purpose of improving the functioning of children at home, in school and in the community!

What you will be doing in your role :

The licensed mental health professionals will be a part of an interdisciplinary team that will provide individualized treatment interventions to the child and their family / caregivers to address the clinical needs of the child and the systematic needs of the family.

• Engage youth and their families in their home / community
• Create individualized service plans
• Complete assessments
• Provide skill development
• Help provide stabilization for youth and family
• Transition youth from Youth ACT to community-based services
