Overview : The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator supports the Volunteer and Community Engagement programs at The Children’s Inn by assisting the Senior Volunteer Engagement Manager in managing volunteers, outreach events, and corporate groups.
Job Responsibilities Include :
Community Engagement :
- Assist with planning and day-of support for on-site and off-site community engagement events (sports teams, partnerships, MCPD, speaking engagements, field trips). Assist with phone and e-mail inquiries and coordination regarding the Thoughtful Treasures Program
- Provide direct support for Corporate Dinner Groups
Work with Health & Well-Being Coordinator to respond to dinner groups, provide guidelines, and manage the dinner calendar.
Encourage additional ways to engage with The Inn
Collect feedback from partners and participants to improve future engagement initiatives.

Schedule :
Official schedule is 40-hours per week. Core hours will be Monday-Friday 10 : 30 - 6 : 30pm. However, the coordinator must be flexible with weekly schedule based on the needs of the volunteers, events, and programs scheduled. This position primarily requires on-site office hours but offers flexibility for remote work on administrative days. Monthly and quarterly attendance is required for staff meetings.
Compensation and Benefits :
Hiring Salary Range : $25.48 - $27.88
