Job Purpose
The Social Media Specialist will play a key role in shaping and executing the hospital’s social media strategy, working closely with the Corporate Communications team to elevate brand awareness and engagement. This role is responsible for developing compelling content across multiple social media platforms for Bethany Children’s Health Center and its partners (Healthy Schools Oklahoma, Safe Kids Oklahoma). The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and passionate about our mission.
Key responsibilities include managing an editorial calendar, crafting engaging post copy, creating and editing short-form videos and social graphics, supporting digital campaigns and event promotions, fostering community engagement, and analyzing performance metrics. This position requires an in-depth understanding of social media trends and best practices to help expand our reach and impact.
Additionally, the Social Media Specialist will take the lead in developing content and dictating the overall strategy—determining what is posted, when it is posted, and in what format—to maximize audience engagement and brand consistency across platforms. |
