We are seeking a passionate Bilingual Child Developmental Consultant to join our Healthy Beginnings team! This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in coordinating vital family services while supporting the youngest members of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Screenings & Assessments: Administer thorough screening and assessment services for children aged 0-5 and their families using approved evaluation tools.
Evaluate & Advise: Analyze screening results to identify specific needs and recommend customized services to meet client requirements.
Identify Family Needs: Utilize designated assessments to assess risk factors, protective factors, and the overall needs of each family, ensuring every child receives a strong start.
Build Relationships with Families: Visit homes and community locations to foster trust, provide support, and deliver individualized assistance to families.
Document & Communicate: Maintain accurate records of appointments, referrals, and activities, ensuring clear communication with your supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Human Services (social work, developmental psychology, early childhood education, or a related field preferred).
- At least two years of experience in child welfare or a related area.
- Must be fluent in both English and Creole.
- Flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend appointments.
- A valid Florida drivers license.
