Job Summary This is a part-time Admin Assistant position at the Weiser Idaho Seminary and Ontario Institute. This is a NON Benefitted position. With 15 to 17 hours a week for 10 months of the year. The Principal is looking for about 3 hours a day at the Weiser Seminary (8:00 to 11am) , with one evening a week (Tuesdays) at the Ontario Institute (6:30 to 9pm).
Purposes
The purpose of this role is to assist in the work of salvation and exaltation by providing individual contributor, entry level administrative support to one or more leader and/or one or more functional team or work group.

Performs administrative duties for a work group, department/area, manager or director. Prepares documents, reports, charts, and graphs. Maintains and updates calendars. Schedules and/or coordinates meetings. Makes travel arrangements. Creates and/or maintains filing systems. Reviews and distributes mail. Collects data and compiles information. Answers telephone and responds to routine calls/inquiries. Prepares correspondence. May perform data entry activities.
Responsibilities
40% Prepares documents, reports, charts, and graphs. Collects data and compiles information. Responds to changing priorities while supporting staff. Receives direct and detailed instruction on tasks to be performed.
40% Maintains and updates calendars. Schedules and/or coordinates meetings. Makes travel arrangements. Reviews and distributes mail. Answers telephone and responds to routine calls/inquiries.
20% Creates and/or maintains filing systems. May perform data entry activities.
Qualifications
Typically expected to have a High School diploma or equivalent plus two years of post high school education or training and one to four years of Secretarial or Administrative Assistant experience.
Basic office skills to include: simple research capabilities, knowledge of the operations and maintenance of standard office equipment, sufficient familiarity with standard office software to create or modify spreadsheets or word processing documents.
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Preparing memos, documents, reports, spreadsheets (including charts and graphs), and presentations using a wide range of software and platforms.
• Collecting data and compiling information.
• Taking meeting minutes
• Using computer apps and software to schedule meetings and appointments and maintain calendars.
• Answering and screening telephone calls - forwards calls and takes messages as needed
• Receiving and sorting mail and correspondence
• Operating standard office equipment such as copy machines
• Ordering office supplies
• Maintaining office files
• Other duties as assigned
Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Beginning to working administrative support knowledge
