The For the Strength of Youth Conferences: Technology Full-time Intern is an integral part of the FSY team. You will be part of a team that serves some 250,000 youth and young single adults around the world every year. There are four internships available at this time, each focused on one of four categories; communications, technology, training, and curriculum. The primary focus of this internship will be on supporting technical products and initiatives for a global audience, including but not limited to understanding customer needs, prioritization of new features, and leading the implementation of new software solutions.
The internship is in the Priesthood and Family Department. It will be 40 hours a week beginning March 10, 2025, and will run for one year. This position requires in-person work at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hybrid options may be available, depending on arrangements made with hiring staff at the time of hire.

The For the Strength of Youth Conferences Full-time Technology Intern is an integral part of the FSY team in the Priesthood and Family Department. Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter. Other required qualifications include:

- Researching the needs of youth, YSA, local leaders, and church employees that participate in FSY.
- Taking ownership of specific technical products and initiatives, managing their lifecycle from concept to delivery.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to gather requirements, prioritize development efforts, and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Receiving and organizing user feedback, including identifying and prioritizing bugs and features in collaboration with Product Managers and developers.
- Collaborating with other team members in web design, system integration, and the deployment of new technical tools.
- Developing and maintaining documentation and training materials for technical solutions.

- Strong understanding of Church doctrine, history, organization, and policy.
- The ability to manage many projects simultaneously.
- The ability to give careful attention to detail, sustain concentration for long periods of time, and maintain the highest level of accuracy.
- The ability to work well with people and present an image of professionalism.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are taking classes in or have experience with technical product management, web design, experience design, and/or technology.
- Ability to speak a foreign language is a plus.
