Job Description
The IT Project Manager 3 is a professional, lead position that oversees the management of a project team of solution managers, engineers, project managers, analysts, quality assurance engineers and designers. This team delivers high-quality solutions for customers and partners within the Church. This role interacts with customers, stakeholders, partners, and strategic vendors to ensure an excellent experience while delivering technical solutions. This position provides leadership and strategy on industry trends.
This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.

Responsibilities
Oversees the day-to-day technical project work of the team
Manages and forecasts budgets and risks
Develops and executes project plans that ensures all deliverables are developed and released on time with the highest quality possible
Generates weekly reports complete with metrics showing the status of each project
Aligns and follows standard processes to assure quality and consistency of the product
Ensures IT risks (including security, compliance, business continuity, etc.) are identified and appropriately addressed
Addresses complex problems and effectively escalates them as necessary
Oversees the facilities support work for new technology requests, IoT related requests and projects in addition to the highest priority implementation projects.
Oversees some development projects; however, most project work is related to SaaS/cloud-based systems.
Manages multiple vendor relationships for new technology evaluations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
- Eight years in Technical Project Management or Technology Management experience
- Strong, broad technology background with understanding of IT industry best practices for Project Management
- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining productive working relationships
- Proven success in leading multiple teams in a complex matrix organization
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to demonstrate team leadership and project planning
- This job operates in a professional office environment
- To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment
- Experience in a global IT organization
- Scrum certifications
- PMP Certification or other recognized project management certification
