The City of La Porte Park & Recreation Department is currently looking for LIFEGUARDS to serve Stone Lake Beach this summer. Candidates must have a current certification as Lifeguard by a recognized source of training. Candidates must be responsible and have strong communication skills.
The City of La Porte Park & Recreation Department is currently looking for Lifeguards to serve Stone Lake Beach this summer.
Provides close supervision over swimmers in designated swim area.
Maintains beach and beach house facilities.
Rescues swimmers in danger, administers first aid as needed.
Interprets and enforces beach rules and regulations as set forth by the Park and Recreation Department.
Assists Lifeguard Supervisor as needed
Current certification is required for life guarding under The American Red Cross Lifeguard courses, which include life guarding, first aid, and CPR.
This position is seasonal. Open until filled.
