General Description
Under the direct supervision of the Aquatic Manager and Guest Services Assistant Manager, Guest Services provides a favorable first impression to the guests of the pool and serve guests at the concession stand.
Job Functions
- Collect admission fee or check for a season pass from every one entering the facility.
- Cash & Credit Card receipts match your cash drawer at closeout.
- Keep accurate records of lost and found.
- Determine that children under the age of 8 are accompanied by responsible persons 13 years of age or older.
- Keep accurate records on attendance of various pool activities.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Answer all phone calls professionally.
- Maintain a clean front desk area.
- Know, enforce, and adhere to all rules of the pool.
- Prohibit loitering in front of the counter and counter area.
- Service to the guest is your primary concern.
- Be familiar with all emergency procedures, and know your role in an emergency.
- Be helpful, friendly, and cheerful to the public and fellow employees.
- Direct all complaints to the manager on duty.
- Attend all staff meetings and in-services.
- Performs other related job duties as required.
- Serve concession food to patrons.
- Complete point-of-sale for purchased items.
- Maintain cleanliness of concession stand and surrounding areas.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Capable of reading and following detailed instructions.
- Proficiency in handling money and counting money.
- Ability to maintain accurate financial records of all receipts.
- Demonstrate excellent public relations skills.
Education, Training and Experience
- 14 years of age or older.
