SEASONAL PARKS & RECREATION WORKER
The City of Monroe is currently accepting applications for seasonal Parks and Recreation workers. This is a temporary, seasonal position, and individuals in this role will be required to perform considerable physical labor, utilizing both manual and power tools, as well as light equipment and vehicles.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, general park maintenance tasks, such as watering, planting, weeding, raking, trimming trees with power tools, mulching, and mowing lawns. Occasionally, workers may be asked to assist with general labor tasks in other work groups.
Candidates must possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan Vehicle Operator’s License and be at least 18 years old at the start of employment.
Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.
