Employment Opportunity
The Orem Public Works Department is currently hiring for a Public Works Technician in the Storm Water Division. This is a full-time position working under the direction of a Public Works Field Supervisor. Technicians are responsible for performing specialized duties related to the maintenance and inspection of storm water infrastructure. The position will operate light and heavy equipment including vac trucks, sweepers, dump trucks and loaders during the day and night in congested traffic and in challenging road conditions. Responds to calls on a stand by and on-call basis as assigned. Will be involved with snow removal operations. Assists in the completion of records and reports.
Qualifications
- High School graduation or equivalent.
- 1 year related experience.
- Must possess and maintain valid Utah Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Pay and Benefits
$42.035.87 - $58,187.47 Annually. Pay generally starts at the lower end of range.
