POSITION DETAILS
The CARES Access Resource Center (ARC) Coordinator is responsible for providing outreach and case management to students seeking non-academic support services, including financial counseling, SNAP and HRA benefits intake and screening, housing support, legal counseling, emergency grants, and food pantry services. The coordinator will guide students through various application processes, assist with processing applications, refer students to external service providers for legal/financial counseling, and manage all food pantry-related tasks, including receiving, distribution, inventory, and marketing ARC events.

Bachelor's Degree required.

- Report to the CARES - Counseling and Resources for Emergency Support / ARC - Access Resource Center Manager within the Division of Student Success
- Conduct intake assessments for students utilizing ARC services
- Prepare, review, and monitor applications for programs such as Petrie, SNAP, and other benefits
- Maintain, monitor, and document all student data, contacts, referrals, and outcomes in the designated database; generate reports as needed
- Assist with all food pantry operations, including receiving, distribution, inventory management, and event marketing
- Participate in program research, development, and assessment, and engage in ongoing training (both on-site and off-site) while contributing to peer learning systems
- Supervise and support interns and work-study students assigned to the CARES office
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with referring agencies
Bachelor's Degree required.
