The Claiborne at Brickyard Crossing is looking to hire a Driver/Transportation Assistant to join our team. This is part-time, hourly position and is located at our community in Summerville, SC. The Driver/Transportation Assistant is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation services for our residents. This position also includes providing assistance with residents' daily activities and needs as required.

Responsibilities:
- Operate company-owned vehicle to transport residents to scheduled appointments, outings, and activities.
- Assist residents with getting in and out of the vehicle safely.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and has the necessary supplies and equipment.
- Communicate with residents and their families to gather transportation needs and preferences.
- Assist residents with their daily activities and needs as requested.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents/incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
- Provide excellent customer service to all residents and their families.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must have a clean criminal background check and pass a drug screening.
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
