The Driver / Transportation Assistant at The Claiborne at Brickyard Crossing is a part-time, hourly position within the healthcare / medical industry. This individual contributor role is located in Summerville, SC and is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation services for our residents. This position also includes providing assistance with residents' daily activities and needs as required.

Responsibilities :
- Operate company-owned vehicle to transport residents to scheduled appointments, outings, and activities.
- Assist residents with getting in and out of the vehicle safely.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and has the necessary supplies and equipment.
- Communicate with residents and their families to gather transportation needs and preferences.
- Assist residents with their daily activities and needs as requested.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents / incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
- Provide excellent customer service to all residents and their families.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required.
