Scope:
The Lead Lifeguard ensures the safety of all members and guests utilizing indoor and outdoor pool areas of the fitness, tennis and spa facility. Maintains clean sanitary environments of the pool areas, including lodging and seating areas, monitors pool areas, and participates in stocking of pool linens and laundry as needed, and removes trash.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees Lifeguards and Lifeguard schedules to maintain coverage at all open times
- Monitors outdoor and indoor pool areas for safety
- Maintains clean and sanitary pool environments
- Keeps first aid and rescue equipment and accessories in good order
- Reports all incidents
- Prepared and capable to respond in emergency situations
Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Certification and/or License Requirement:
CPR and AED certified
Basic First Aid
Lifeguard certification

Customer service experience.
Previous experience preferred in a municipal pool facility, spa, hotel, or resort.
Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic.

Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Strong team player.
Ability to lift 25 lbs
