Scope:
The Pool and Laundry Attendant monitors pool chemicals and equipment, water quality for the indoor and outdoor pools and indoor jacuzzi. The Pool and Laundry Attendant keeps inventory of pool chemicals and laundry products and will be responsible for maintaining sanitary environments in the Fitness Center. This includes cleaning fitness equipment, maintaining restroom and locker room environments by refilling amenities, and keeping towels, robes, and sandals supplied. The Pool and Laundry Attendant ensures clean linens are available for members and employees in the spa and supports other department’s laundry requirements as directed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs daily opening and closing duties in the pool area,
- Monitors, adjusts, and maintains pool chemical balance and water quality and keeps daily log.
- Maintains cleanliness of all pools (vacuuming, cleaning and all activities related to pool operations).
- Maintains pool and deck amenities (towel service, Splash class accessories, pool toys, deck furniture).
- Greets members and guests as they arrive to use pools and/or jacuzzi.
- Enforces pool safety rules and regulations.
- Keeps the pool and jacuzzi areas clean and orderly.
- Responsible to set up of lounges, chairs, tables, and trash cans.
- Responsible to empty the trash cans regularly.
- Lounges, chairs, and tables kept orderly, and trash cans emptied.
- Keeps clean towels, robes, and sandals stocked and used items removed to the laundry department.
- Maintains the Gym and Locker Rooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Monitors and assists in maintaining locker rooms and supplies.
- Responsible for coordinating product re-orders with Fitness Center Director.
- Responsible for keeping linens and towels stocked in those areas.
- Required to be in proper and complete uniform as designated and be at scheduled station at the scheduled time.
Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience preferred in a spa, hotel, or resort.
Certification and/or License Requirement:
Current CPR certification is required..
Current Certified Pool Operator is required.
