What are the responsibilities and job description for the Racquet Sports Attendant position at The Club at Las Campana?
Scope:
To provide outstanding service to our members, aiding the tennis team with support on the tennis courts and at the tennis casita during daily operations, tennis tournaments, and special events.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greeting members for play on the tennis courts
- Setting up tennis courts for daily play with water, balls, towels, etc.
- Setting up ball machine for members to practice on certain courts.
- Reports maintenance issues to fitness center director/manager.
- Repairing wind screens, nets, and courts as necessary.
- Restocking towels, tennis balls, water, and supplies as needed throughout the day.
- Maintaining member tennis casita with fruit, snacks, and coffee.
- Work closely with tennis professionals and other staff on tournament and event days.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Relationships:
Internal: All Club departments: For effective communication.
External: Members/Guests: To provide excellent service.

Customer service experience
Previous experience preferred in a tennis facility a plus
Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic.
Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.
Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
Good verbal skills.
Strong team player.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and be outside for extended hours
Education/ Certifications and/or License Requirement: High school diploma or GED preferred
Working Conditions: Mostly outdoor activities with additional work in tennis casita and storage
Required Nights, Weekends and Holidays
Physical/Cognitive Activities:
- Requires ability to bend, stoop, lift, balance and carry items up to 50lbs.
- Ability to push or pull items on a cart up to 50lbs.
- Ability to assist in moving furniture when necessary.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to work with flammable materials, and toxic cleaning chemicals as well as sharp knives and other objects.
- Ability to move freely on a multi-floor building.
