Job Description
We are seeking part-time Advocacy Support Staff for evening, weekend, holiday, and overnight shifts. These staff members will assist victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children with advocacy, support, intakes, crisis intervention, enrichment activities, and outreach. Additionally, they will assist with facility and office projects.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in advocacy or a related field
- Ability to work from an empowerment model
- Skills serving battered women and children, and/or sexual assault survivors
- Knowledge of domestic and sexual violence, and related issues
- Effective communication skills
- Bilingualism preferred
