Job Summary
We are seeking part-time Advocacy Support Staff for evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights. These staff assist victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children with advocacy, support, intakes, crisis intervention, enrichment activities, and outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advocacy and support services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence
- Assist with facility and office projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners
Requirements
A minimum of one year advocacy or relevant experience is required. Ability to work from an empowerment model and skills serving battered women and children and/or sexual assault survivors, knowledge of domestic and sexual violence and related issues, and communication skills are essential. Bilingualism is preferred.
