Salary:
$16 - $18/hr. DOE

Responsibilities
- Operating machinery: You'll be responsible for operating production machinery such as cutting, milling, and welding machines to fabricate window frames, sashes, and other components. This involves setting up the machines, monitoring their performance, and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal output.
- Assembling window components: Once the various components are fabricated, you'll be responsible for assembling them into finished windows. This may involve using hand tools or automated assembly equipment to join the components together.
- Performing quality checks: Throughout the production process, you'll be responsible for performing quality checks on the finished products to ensure that they meet our standards for durability, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal. You'll be responsible for identifying and addressing any defects or issues that arise.
- Maintaining equipment: You'll be responsible for maintaining the production equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machinery, replacing worn parts, and performing routine maintenance to ensure that the machines operate at peak efficiency.
- Following safety procedures: You'll be responsible for following all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective gear and following established protocols for handling hazardous materials or operating machinery.
- Communicating with team members: You'll be responsible for communicating effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure that production goals are met, quality standards are upheld, and any issues or concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
Requirements
To be successful as a Production Operator in window manufacturing, the following job requirements are typically expected:
- High school diploma or equivalent: This role typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment: Prior experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of how machinery works is essential to be successful in this role.
- Attention to detail: This role requires a high level of attention to detail in order to ensure that finished products meet our quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team: As a Production Operator, you'll be expected to work independently on assigned tasks, but also work effectively as part of a team.

- Physical ability: This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
