The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) is seeking to fill an undergraduate faculty position to teach in-person finance and economics courses for the Management and Business Studies Department. This is a nine-month position in the undergraduate program. Faculty rank, tenure option and salary are negotiable based on terminal degree and experience. The teaching load for full-time faculty is three, four-credit courses per semester over two semesters for a total teaching load of 24 credit hours. The selected applicant will develop and teach undergraduate courses offered during the day on the Duluth Campus.

Key Results/\Responsibilities:
- Teach required courses for the undergraduate business programs. Additional responsibilities include advising, recruiting majors, curriculum planning and assessment; internship supervision; research and scholarly activities; college and community service.
- A successful candidate will regularly participate in professional development activities related to teaching skills, technology use, and diversity and inclusion in higher education.
- Master’s degree with at least 15 graduate credits in finance or economics, or working towards completion of those credits.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and use new technologies
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and/or teach quantitative business concept to people outside the field.
- Three or more years of professional experience in finance or economics.
- Experience teaching or effectively communicating interpretation and analyses of financial statements and/or investments.
- Experience teaching undergraduate classes.
- Terminal degree or ABD in finance or economics.
- CFA or similar certification.
- Ability to teach in person, on-line or hybrid courses as conditions require.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
