The College of St. Scholastica is seeking to fill a baccalaureate faculty position preparing students for entry level generalist practice. This is a nine-month, tenure-track negotiable faculty position in the Department of Nursing with teaching responsibilities in the face-to-face traditional undergraduate nursing program. The position begins Spring 2025. There is an option for additional employment during the summer terms. This position has on-campus teaching in Duluth, student advising, scholarship, and college and community service expectations. Candidates will collaborate, contribute to, and participate in fostering a culture of inclusion in support of college diversity goals.

- On-campus teaching in Duluth in the classroom, skills and simulation lab, acute care, and community health care clinical settings.
- Student advising, scholarship, and service expectations
- Effectively collaborate with teaching teams
- Effectively use multiple technology platforms (Brightspace, Examsoft, DegreeWorks)
- Communicate and interact effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff
- Master's Degree in nursing is required, or a graduate degree in nursing in progress, or willingness to start a graduate program upon hire
- Professional nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in teams
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and use multiple technology platforms
- Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills and multicultural competency
- Demonstrated experience interacting effectively with diverse groups/populations.
- Doctoral degree in nursing
- Teaching experience
Salary : $58,713 - $70,455
