Job Summary
The Director of Finance is responsible for maintaining financial records for the College, ensuring compliance with College policies and generally accepted accounting principles, and overseeing the financial operations of the institution. This position will report to the Executive Director of Finance.

Job Summary
The Director of Finance is responsible for maintaining financial records for the College, ensuring compliance with College policies and generally accepted accounting principles, and overseeing the financial operations of the institution. This position will report to the Executive Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records for the College and ensure training and adherence to College policies and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Manage payroll, purchasing, AP and P-card functions and activities of the College to ensure accurate processing and compliance with governmental regulations and College policies.
- Oversee the student accounts function through the student accounts manager, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections. Support the development of policies and procedures to enhance student account operations.
- Provide oversight for financial aid disbursements.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and at least seven years of accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Supervisory/management experience required.
- Knowledge of and skill in applying generally accepted accounting practices.
- Ability to lead employees to contribute to the strategic financial priorities of the College.
- Skill in providing customer service to managers, students, and employees to ensure resolution and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Ability to write emails, letters, policies, procedures, and performance reviews in a clear and direct manner to communicate directives and feedback to the College.
- Ability to utilize the functionality of integrated information systems to manage data across functional areas.
- Accounting and financial knowledge and skill to analyze financial data for accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work cooperatively within a group and lead a successful team to ensure the effectiveness of financial reporting.
- Skill in organizing projects and planning work to meet time frames and quality standards.

- Master’s degree in management, organization development, or a related field.

Salary : $91,949 - $119,534
