Job Duties
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process for summer conference guests and long-term summer residents.
- Assist with orientation and other summer events as needed.
- Assist with cleaning residential facilities to ensure they are properly maintained and ready for occupancy.
- Act as a resource for summer students and conference guests, offering guidance and support.
- Provide customer service for any housing or residential-related questions or concerns.
- Help with room assignments, bed setups, and the preparation of summer housing rental spaces.
- Coordinate with Residence Life, Facilities, and Housekeeping staff to ensure smooth transitions between groups and events.
- Assist in folding linens and preparing other materials necessary for summer events.
- Support the Residence Life team with administrative tasks such as answering phones, data entry, preparing reports, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for privacy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Residential Life Office.
- Must be a current or incoming CSS student
- Federal work study eligibility is required (international students exempt)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a customer service role or Residence Life is a plus.
- Must be able to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and evenings as needed.
- Candidates should be available the majority of the time frame described.
Salary : $14
