Due to an upcoming retirement, we are recruiting for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of a privately held manufacturing company. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, compliance, and operational efficiency, ensuring the company’s financial health and long-term growth. This role requires a hands-on approach, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to work closely with ownership and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage cash flow, financial risk, and capital expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Work closely with operations to optimize cost efficiency and profitability.
- Evaluate and implement financial systems and controls to support growth.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and ownership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA or MBA preferred).
- Proven experience as a CFO for a manufacturing operation of at least $200MM
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, cost accounting, and operational finance.
- Experience within a growing organization – both organic and through acquisition including some M&A experience is preferred
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
