Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pizza making, with expertise in hand-stretching dough, sauce preparation, and topping placement. As a Pizza Baker, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our pizzas, delighting our customers with every bite.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and hand-stretch dough to create the perfect pizza base.
- Apply sauce, cheese, and toppings according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pizza preparation area, including equipment and work surfaces.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of pizza ingredients and notifying management of any shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate pizza orders and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a pizza baker or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Proficiency in hand-stretching dough and executing proper pizza assembly techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects.
