Role Summary
As part of the Finance team, the Analyst - Finance Servicing assists in the processing of loan closings, conversions, loan advances, remittances, pay-downs, payoffs, and applying payments in Strategy and Sage/Timberline. This role will provide analysis and reconciliation of loan portfolios across a variety of loan and investor types to be in compliance with servicing agreement requirements. Prepares necessary reconciliation across Strategy and Timberline systems. This role supports all of CPC’s businesses.

What You’ll Do
- Analysis and reconciliation of loan portfolios across a variety of loan and investor types to be compliant with servicing agreement requirements.
- Process loan closings, advances and escrows in Strategy.
- Analyze, prepare and post necessary adjustments and entries to specific general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the reconciliation of various accounts and notifying appropriate Finance and Portfolio Services personnel of required interest and other adjustments throughout the month.
- Liaise with Financial Reporting group for reconciliation items and monthly reporting requirements.
- Maintain an accurate accounting of investor balances.
- Work with Portfolio Servicing Department (PSD) and AVP, Finance Servicing on loan modifications to existing loan portfolio (i.e., CSP) in Strategy.
- Assist AVP with monthly remittance process to investors including preparation of investor remittances and related investor reporting.
- Interact with PSD and Treasury personnel regarding funds to be remitted to third parties.
- Assist in reconciling and applying cash receipts, wires, disbursements and reversals.
- Preparation of various periodic and special reports and special reconciliations as needed.
- Collaborate with Treasury, Financial Reporting and PSD team on cash flow, Strategy setups, and reporting requirements for new products, projects and programs.
- Assist with set-up of new vendors and investors in Strategy and Sage/Timberline.
- Provide periodic reporting requests for various financial and investor audits.
- Identify areas in need of improvement and recommend solutions and action plans to senior Finance personnel.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in loan servicing or financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Proficiency in making Interest, Principal, Receivable and Accrual Calculations.
- Experience in McCracken Servicing System and Timberline General Ledger, a plus
- BA in Finance or Accounting required.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong analytical and investigative skills required.
- Superior time management skills are required, with the ability to multi-task efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining controlled environment.
- Exceptionally strong communication skills are required.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills essential.

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
