Closing Manager – The Community Tap/North Main location
Are you a high-energy, hospitality-driven leader with a passion for craft beer, great vibes, and community? The Community Tap is looking for a Closing Manager to join our team and help create an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors.
What We're Looking For:

Position Details:
- Schedule: 4–5 closing shifts per week
- Closing time is 9:00 PM, with team typically out by 9:45–10:00 PM
- Compensation: gross pay around $50K annually
- Paid Time Off: 2 weeks PTO
- Benefits: Eligible after 1 year – includes dental & vision insurance, plus 401(k) with company match
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests
- Oversee and support front-of-house staff, including bartenders and servers, fostering teamwork and high morale
- Act as shift lead and point of contact, handling any guest issues or operational needs that arise
- Ensure nightly checklists, cleaning procedures, and side work are completed thoroughly and consistently
- Manage cash handling, end-of-day reports, and secure nightly deposits
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting atmosphere throughout the Tap
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create events, limited-time menu items, and bar-focused specials
- Develop and execute happy hour offerings or themed nights to increase evening bar business
- Actively promote and upsell retail beer and wine selections, encouraging guest crossover between bar and shop
- Communicate effectively with the GM and other leadership to ensure alignment and smooth day-to-day operations
- Be a brand ambassador—representing the values and vibe of The Community Tap at all times
- Help uphold high standards for hospitality, cleanliness, safety, and team culture
