Connor Kids Academy is a three-year enrichment program for youth. Using sports as the hook, Connor Kids Academy teaches the importance of making good decisions and developing healthy habits. Partnering with professional and collegiate athletes and coaches, kids build character, self-esteem and life skills.
In addition to our in-person events throughout the year, students stay engaged through our exclusive Connor Kids Academy app. The app is a resource for participants to create goals, track their progress in developing habits and complete activities – on their way to earning rewards.
Qualified candidates should possess:
- A proven track record as a leader of people and programs.
- The ability to create trust, credibility and long-term relationships.
- The ability to hold others accountable and say “no.”
- The ability to effectively organize their time while overseeing numerous projects concurrently.
- The capacity to work 50 hours per week, including occasional weekends and overnight travel.
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution.
- The ability to collaborate with a diverse team of volunteers and partner organizations.
- The ability to relate to and connect with urban youth.
- Sports background ideally.
